The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made history by announcing the first-ever nationwide Pakistan Super League (PSL) Trophy Tour. This groundbreaking initiative will bring the coveted PSL trophy closer to fans across the country, celebrating the spirit of cricket and uniting the nation in its love for the sport.
According to an official statement released by the PCB, the Luminar Trophy Tour will kick off in Hyderabad and Karachi, marking the beginning of an exciting journey across 11 cities in Pakistan. The trophy will travel to various locations in these cities until March 29, giving fans a chance to witness the symbol of cricketing excellence up close.
The PSL 2024 season is scheduled to run from April 10 to May 18, with matches taking place in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. However, before the action begins on the field, the trophy will embark on its nationwide tour. The first phase of the tour will showcase the trophy in Hyderabad and Karachi until March 15, after which it will move to other major cities, including Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Islamabad. The PCB has promised to announce the details of the second phase of the tour at an appropriate time.
