Shaheer Afridi Clinches Victory Over Indian Rival in High-Stakes Thailand Bout.

Pakistani professional boxer and Sindh Police commando Shaheer Afridi delivered a powerful performance in a thrilling boxing showdown against India’s Tarjot Singh Bawa during the Pakistan-India clash held in Thailand.

Afridi dominated the middleweight division fight with calculated aggression and technical precision. After flooring Bawa in the third round, the bout saw a dramatic turn in the fourth round when the Indian boxer’s deteriorating condition forced the referee to call off the fight, awarding Afridi a technical knockout (TKO) win.

This triumph marks Shaheer Afridi’s 18th professional fight, bringing his record to 16 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw. Notably, Tarjot Singh Bawa entered the ring with an “undefeated” status in professional boxing, making this victory even more significant for Afridi.

Afridi achieve milestone of global top 50 boxer in middleweight category and got the stature of a rising international boxing star.

Following the victory, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah extended heartfelt congratulations, commending Afridi’s commitment and strength. The Chief Minister announced cash rewards and emphasized that “Shaheer Afridi has made the entire nation proud”, proving that Sindh Police officers are capable of excellence both in service and in sports.
