Recently, a complaint has reportedly been filed against South Indian superstar actor Thalapathy Vijay, who organized an Iftar gathering for Muslims. The complaint alleges misconduct and mismanagement at the event.
According to Indian media reports, Thalapathy Vijay, who recently left the film industry to pursue politics, is facing allegations over hosting an Iftar gathering. The complaint claims that his political party, Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam, was responsible for organizing the event, which allegedly resulted in the disrespect of Muslims.
As per the police, the Tamil Nadu Saint Association has lodged a formal complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner against Thalapathy Vijay. The complaint states that his political party failed to maintain the sanctity of the event, allowing individuals with no connection to fasting or Iftar to participate. Allegedly, drunkards and unruly individuals were present at the gathering, leading to the disrespect of the Muslim community.
Additionally, the complaint highlights that the Iftar gathering was not arranged properly. Foreign security guards reportedly mistreated attendees, handling them in an inhumane manner, which led to widespread disappointment and anger among the participants.
