After a significant hiatus from the political scene, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif is set to make a comeback with a robust political campaign. As part of a renewed public engagement drive, he has planned a series of nationwide rallies and public meetings, starting from Punjab, aiming to re-establish his political presence and reconnect with the masses.
In a significant political stride, Nawaz Sharif engaged in a high-profile dialogue with former Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch during an impactful meeting held in Lahore. The discussion focused on the longstanding issues faced by Balochistan, where Dr. Malik urged Nawaz Sharif to actively contribute towards resolving the province’s socio-political and economic challenges. In response, the PML-N chief assured his full democratic and political support in addressing Balochistan’s concerns.
Additionally, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari also called on the former premier to discuss various political and developmental matters. The meetings reflect Nawaz Sharif’s growing engagement with both federal and provincial stakeholders, signaling a strategic return to active politics at a time of national significance.
