“Akhand Bharat Is Dead”: Rana Sanaullah Slams Indian Aggression

Pakistan’s Response to Indian Aggression Is Legitimate Act of Self-Defense, Says Rana Sanaullah

In an exclusive interview with Aaj News, Rana Sanaullah, Senior PML-N Leader and Adviser to the Prime Minister, firmly stated that Pakistan’s recent actions were a legitimate exercise of self-defense following unprovoked Indian aggression. He declared that the illusion of Akhand Bharat has shattered, and India is now facing international embarrassment over its reckless military actions.

“India has once again attacked Pakistan, targeting innocent civilians, including women and children,” said Sanaullah. “In response, Pakistan strategically hit Indian military installations, making it clear that we do not initiate conflict—but we will respond with resolve.”

He emphasized that India neither possesses superior technology nor greater military expertise compared to Pakistan. “Pakistan’s strength lies in its unity, the love of its people for the nation, and the professionalism of its armed forces,” he added.

Commenting on the recent incident in Pahalgam, Sanaullah reiterated Pakistan’s readiness for an impartial international investigation and dismissed any form of terrorism, reiterating that Pakistan itself has long been a victim of it. He cautioned India against acting as both accuser and aggressor, and insisted that facts must guide future decisions.

“India’s propaganda has failed to convince the global community,” he continued. “Pakistan has scored significant wins on the diplomatic front—U.S. Vice President has reached out to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, indicating growing international recognition of Pakistan’s position.”

Rana Sanaullah also criticized India’s recent hostile actions such as the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, expulsion of Pakistani diplomats, and the denial of medical travel to Pakistani citizens. “These moves only expose India’s desperation,” Sanaullah remarked. “Pakistan will protect its sovereignty at all costs, and the entire nation stands firmly with our armed forces.”
