Pakistan among 43 countries facing new U.S. visa limits

The Trump administration has proposed travel restrictions on citizens from 43 countries, including Pakistan, as part of a new immigration policy under review.

According to an American news outlet, the administration is considering a revised travel ban list, which includes proposals to add 10 new countries to the Orange List. This list will impose strict limitations on immigrant and tourist visas for citizens of affected nations.

Among the countries proposed for the Orange List are Pakistan, Belarus, Haiti, Myanmar, Russia, and Turkmenistan. Citizens from these nations will face tighter visa regulations, restricting their entry into the United States. However, business travelers from Orange List countries may still be allowed entry under specific conditions.

In addition, the administration has suggested placing 22 other countries on the Yellow List. Nations on this list will be given a 60-day period to address security concerns and comply with U.S. immigration and travel policies. Failure to do so may result in further restrictions or complete visa suspension.

This latest move by the Trump administration aligns with its continued efforts to tighten U.S. immigration policies. If implemented, these measures could significantly impact tourism, business travel, and immigration from the affected countries, including Pakistan.
