Punjab Minister for Industries Chaudhry Shafay Hussain met with a delegation of the Pakistani business community residing in Oman. During the meeting, discussions were held on investment opportunities, trade cooperation, and industrial development in the province. The provincial minister invited Omani investors to explore investment prospects in Punjab, highlighting the incentives offered by the government.
While speaking to the delegation, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain stated that Punjab Special Economic Zones offer vast investment opportunities, and the government is taking steps to ensure a business-friendly environment for investors. He emphasized that those investing in Punjab Special Economic Zones are granted a 10-year income tax exemption, providing exceptional benefits to business owners.
He further added that the Punjab government is committed to facilitating both local and foreign investors to boost industrial development. The provincial minister expressed his determination to take practical steps to enhance bilateral trade with Oman, strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
With the tax exemptions and other incentives offered under Punjab Special Economic Zones, Punjab has become an attractive investment destination. The government is continuously implementing measures to make the investment environment even more accessible and business-friendly.
